Improving the wellbeing of residents by building quality housing
CSCEC Algeria, which seeks to keep its promises while placing special emphasis on quality, has made an active commitment to the Algerian government in the field of social housing. As the country’s leading construction group in terms of public contracts, it has built 100,000 homes spanning a total of 11 million square metres, ensuring that more than 100,000 families – nearly 500 000 individuals – have access to housing. CSCEC Algeria also places the utmost importance on quality, guaranteeing the homes it builds are of an extremely high standard. Buildings completed by the group were the only ones left unscathed by the 2003 earthquake, which earned them the reputation of being “earthquake proof”.
CSCEC Algeria also strives to create new spaces that contribute to the wellbeing of all residents. In August 2017, it delivered 10,000 new homes in Sidi Abdellah which, following an iterative design process, were optimized to integrate smart technologies, for the maximum comfort of all residents. The completion of these homes, which form part of the largest and most attractive residential area in Algeria and the Mediterranean Basin, was praised by the Algerian government and many international organizations.
