Infrastructure

Working together to pave new roads and build bridges

Infrastructural projects are CSCEC’s core business. The company invests in many types of infrastructure, building roads, railways, urban rail networks, airports, municipal buildings, hydraulic engineering works and hydroelectric facilities. During its early years in Algeria, CSCEC completed dams, reservoirs and irrigation works, before being asked to build a 48-kilometre expressway in the Tipaza wilaya, the 53-kilometre Chiffa section of the North-South Expressway, and a 17-kilometre expressway near Cherchell. The geological conditions and narrow gorges of the Chiffa section, which is currently being built, are widely considered the most complex and difficult in Algeria. The Cherchell Ring Expressway Project, a slow but sure development that produced exceptional results, is being progressively opened to traffic. This project has helped consolidate the reputation of Chinese infrastructure companies operating in Algeria, proving they are cutting-edge professionals and earning them the gratitude of the Algerian people and government.
